ATL has superb facilities and the skilled personnel for the complex machining and assembly of a wide variety of components ranging from buoyancy blocks, pipeline/riser clamps to deepwater insulation. A recent offshore project was the prototyping of a new design of drill riser fairing and the manufacture of pre production composite RTM tools.
ATL has over 20 years' experience in Machining Technology in the marine and Offshore industries and looks forward to developing its specialised services to supply a wider industrial base .

TCT Exhibition
Ambler Technologies recently exhibited at the TCT conference at the Ricoh Arena Coventry www.tctmagazine.com. The TCT show is a specialist event showcasing the latest technology and developments in the rapid prototyping industry. With recent investments made by Ambler in rapid prototyping it was a natural place to display some of their products and services.
Under the Joint banner of Ambler Technologies and Express Prototyping which is a division of Ambler the exhibition stand attracted many new and existing clients from Aerospace, Automotive and the Marine industries.
Ambler also used the show to launch a new low density epoxy pattern board (see article – ATL 400) this proved to be by far the highlight of the show for Ambler.

Expansion Underway
In planning for the future expansion of Ambler and before undertaking any recruitment, investment was
urgently required in the upgrading of the IT systems and the refurbishment of the office block to provide a
brighter, cleaner and more modern working environment, also vitally important the implementation of a more
comprehensive Health and Safety Policy.
All the above structural changes have now been completed and coincide with the recruitment of new technical staff covering design and material developments as well as 2 senior management appointments. Ambler Technologies can now look forward to delivering on all fronts.
